Athena Computer Power Corp. (ACPC) proudly to announce that their FlexATX-300W power supply has been awarded the 80 PLUS® Bronze badge. As the newest addition to ACPC’s line of small form factor power supplies, the FlexATX-300W is designed to provide flexibility when used for compact, embedded, and portable computing devices. With ATX 24Pin, SATA II 15pin, P4-12V 4pin, FDD 4pin, PCIE 6pin and Molex 4pin connectors, Active PFC (Power Factor Correction) and remote ON/OFF function, it’s ready to be used for many compact and portable computers on the market today. It also includes an internal 40mm ball-bearing fan and thermal fan speed control for optimal heat and noise dissipation.

A power supply with baseline 80PLUS certification is required to operate at a minimum of 80% efficiency. The Bronze level of 80 PLUS® certification indicates that the power supply operates at a minimum of 82% efficiency at 20% and 100% load, and 85% efficiency at 50% load. According to test results, the FlexATX 300W performed extremely well and has exceeded the 80PLUS® requirements. |
