The distinctive design of the second generation α-BOX series includes a FlexATX power supply unit that efficiently supports mini ITX motherboards. The FlexATX power supply unit not only minimizes power lost, but also eliminates issues of power adapters’ overheating. FlexATX power supplies are created specially to provide compact flexibility in mini-servers and ITX cases. Our FlexATX PSU features Active PFC (Power Factor Correction), remote ON/OFF function, and 80 Plus Certification. The Active PFC provides more proficient power frequency by using a circuit to correct power factor and giving an abstract power factor of more than 95%. The 80 Plus Certification verifies Athena Computer Power’s initiative to promote energy efficiency in the FlexATX PSU with energy efficiency of over 80%, thus reducing electricity use and costs for consumers.
The α-BOX² displays charm with aluminum side panel covers in either noir--a mystifying shade of black-- or cerise--an elegant shade of pink. The innovative design of the case includes a built-in 60mm fan and opposing side vents on each side that effectively dissipates heat. Needless to say, the case comes with easy access dual front USB, Audio, and Microphone ports. With the unique design and capabilities of the α-BOX², users will find it easy to install components inside the case while adding redundancy to saving space.
